Academy of Art University students joined other creatives in a virtual exhibition to help redefine the Stellantis brand. The project was born from a gap in academic design programs, the opportunity for students to practice their skills and collaborate online.
The objective of this collaboration is two-fold: Forging an innovative identity for Stellantis and contributing robust creative solutions for its products and future endeavors, forging an innovative identity for Stellantis and contributing robust creative solutions for its products and future industries.
Stellantis aims to redefine the concept of luxury for Generation Z through digital-native experiences. The brand creates innovative and immersive environments that explore the possibilities of the future, inspiring ideas to be turned into reality. The Stellantis brand, in particular, the visual language of the logo, is essential to this process. Since its inception four years ago, the brand has been growing in all aspects—in terms of its products and experience. It strives to be a designer-driven organization that inspires imagination and conversations around design.
After conducting a competitive design process, we came up with winning entries. Each entry was developed to enable us to collaborate and create the vision for Stellantis. As part of this process, however, we held a survey to collect the opinions of all participants. In addition, it provided valuable insight by providing data that can be used to make future decisions for both the brand and its consumers.
The data collected by Academy of Art University students is essential to the creative process. The InnovationLab is an academic design program that creates innovative products and experiences through partnerships with leading companies and brands.
